On January 17, Kapamilya star Seth Fedelin admitted that he got surprised when he saw Francine Diaz during the story conference of Dirty Linen.
At the media conference for Dirty Linen, which LionhearTV covered, Fedelin recounted his experience accepting the role and seeing his partner during the story con of the revenge series.
“Alam po naman na FranSeth. Actually, hindi kami noon nag-usap na, ‘Oy, kasama tayo.’ Wala kaming ganon.”
He then cited how Dreamscape head Deo Endrinal assured FranSeth (Francine-Seth) of the effectiveness of their pairing based on the fans’ response.
“Doon lang, [Storycon], doon lang kami nagkita. And then ‘yung kay sir Deo noon, sabi niya sa amin, ‘O, eto na ‘to. Ganon, ganyan.’ After noong Storycon, tumawag sa amin si sir Deo na, oh, okay naman wala naman kayong ganyan. So doon pa lang– tuloy ang project.”
As for his career, Fedelin detailed the benefits he would get by working with the ensemble cast of Dirty Linen.
“Pero, sino po ba naman ako para tumanggi, eh, eto ngang mga kasama ko na mas angat po sa akin, di tumanggi, ako pa? Para mapatunayan ko rin sa sarili ko na– iniisip ko na lang ‘yung craft ko.
“‘Yung baga, kung ano ‘yung balak ko bilang actor, tapos nalaman ko pa na ‘yung mga kasama kong actor, marami akong mapupulot dito. Malaki ‘yung return, kapag nag-invest ako sa show na ‘to, malaki ‘yung– craft ko, sa talent ko.”
Dirty Linen stars Janine Gutierrez, Zanjoe Marudo, Francine Diaz, and Fedelin.
The Kapamilya revenge series features an ensemble cast such as Jennica Garcia, Dolly De Leon, Janice de Belen, Joel Torre, Susan Africa, Tessie Tomas, Soliman Cruz, Epy Quizon, John Arcilla, Tessie Tomas, JC Santos, Xyriel Manabat, Raven Rigor, and Christian Bables.
Joining them are Aubrey Miles, Andrea Del Rosario, Karl Medina, Apey Obera, Tart Carlos, CJ Navato, Ana Abad Santos, Nanding Josef, and Rubi-Rubi.
Under the direction of Andoy Ranay and Onat Diaz, Dirty Linen airs on January 23 on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, Jeepney TV, A2Z, TV5, iWantTFC, and TFC.
