On March 3, producer Atty. Jose Miguel Palarca emphasized on FEAST Foundation’s aim to reorient and instill Filipino Values in children through their digital kids show, ‘The Dadadoos.’

At the media event for ‘The Dadadoos,’ Palarca said that the FEAST Foundation wants to teach Filipino youth about Filipino values through the media.

Palarca shared, “And then after that, mayroon tayong production for history, geography, and then magkakaroon tayo ng mga values. So, tuloy-tuloy lang ‘yung progress, so when it comes to the artist industry and at the same time to instill and reorient the Filipino children of the values na nakakalimutan because of ‘yung internet nagiging globalize na ‘yung mga bata.”

He then discussed how their kids’ program would help preserve Filipino values for children through folk songs.

Palarca emphasized Filipino values saying that “Kasi, mayroon tayong ‘yung mga nagmamano, ‘yung mga po and opo. All of those are nakakalimutan eh. So we decided to start with songs to attract the children and to entice them to learn how to love Filipino folklore [once] again.”

He also cited their goal of providing a livelihood for Filipino artists like their previous film with Viva, ‘Call Me Papi.’

He added, “When we set up the foundation, we set it up to be able to cater to talent, artists, directors, everyone involved in the filmmaking industry. So that when the foundation–was called Filipino Excellence in the Arts, Sciences, and Technology (FEAST).

‘The Dadadoos’ features Iyo Canlas, Yam Mercado, Vic Robinson, Maxine Ignacio, Fiona Sarte, John Arcenas, and Rissey Reyes.

Under the direction of Joseph Abello, catch the latest episode of their digital children’s show on FEAST Foundation’s YouTube Channel.
