Introducing Sparkle’s newest star, Nancy Jewel Mcdonie a.k.a. Nancy. She was a former member of the third-generation K-pop girl group MOMOLAND which was globally known for their songs “Bboom Bboom,” “BAAM,” “Wrap Me In Plastic,” “Yummy Yummy Love,” and many more.
As a member of MOMOLAND since 2016, Nancy is the maknae (in English, the youngest member), the visual or the face of the group, the lead vocalist, and the lead dancer. Years of training as a K-pop artist have made her the multifaceted and talented star that she is today.
Apart from being a performer, Nancy also has a knack for hosting. She’s one of the most notable hosts of the Korean music program “Pops In Seoul.” She also appeared in the Korean children’s show “Nangam School.”
Nancy’s face card also truly knows no bounds as she becomes one of the high-profile models of luxury brand Estée Lauder. She’s also been a staple on TC Candler’s famous The Most Beautiful Faces list. In 2018, she ranked 18th on the list while in 2020, she ranked 10th.
This 2024, Nancy is ready to explore more of the world and her artistry as she officially signs with Sparkle. She brings to the Philippines her talent, beauty and versatility and will surely light up the entertainment industry.
Sparkle has produced global stars such as Global Fashion Icon Heart Evangelista who has been taking over multiple fashion weeks around the world; Global Endorser Gabbi Garcia who’s widely known for being the brand ambassador of brands such as Viber, ALDO, Pantene, and the like; Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards who is also well regarded in the international scene and has won the Asian Star Prize at the 14th Seoul International Drama Awards; and last but not least, Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza who’s globally known for her impeccable acting skills and was awarded as the Best Actress at the 2016 Fantasporto International festival.
