The third GMA Gala 2024, held last Saturday at the Grand Ballroom of Marriott Hotel Manila in Pasay City, served as the network’s annual thanksgiving celebration and a fundraising event for the GMA Kapuso Foundation, benefiting various charities. Dennis Trillo is set to star in the highly anticipated series ‘Pulang Araw’ as Japanese imperial army officer Col. Yuta Saitoh, marking his first major kontrabida role. Additionally, Trillo will appear alongside his wife, Jennylyn Mercado, in the upcoming romantic comedy ‘Everything About My Wife,’ a Philippine adaptation of an Argentinian film. This project is their first movie together in 14 years.
