We visited “Pare and Pare“‘s set on Wednesday and witnessed how the main hosts Ogie Alcasid and Michael V. handles the whole program from the set and to the guests. Laughter filled the studio when Bitoy and Ogie can’t tame the naughty Jillian Ward (guest last Sunday) on the set, to the audience delight.
“Pare andPare” is a live comedy-musical-talk-show will be hosted by the two funny dynamic duo from GMA Network – Ogie & Micheal V. This is Kapuso Network‘s first-of-its-kind program will be hosted by the multi-awarded singer & songwriter Pareng Ogie and three-time Asian TV Best Comedy Actor Pareng Bitoy. The duo will join forces in redefining the Filipino viewers’ facination for late-night talk shows.
As Bitoy continued to develop the concept of the new talk show, he had no one else in mind to host it with but his real life kumpare, Ogie, whom he has seamlessly worked with for the past 16 years in the longest running gag show, “Bubble Gang.” The two off-camera magkumpare, Ogie and Michael V’s partnership has been successfully tried and tested with their numerous collaborations together including the longest-running gag show “Bubble Gang,” “Hole In The Wall” and “Yaya and Angelina: The Spoiled Brat Movie.” Their solid friendship is certainly the secret to their chemistry on and off camera, while their professional partnership has been tried and tested through the years.
