The career of controversial actress Claudine Barretto remains in the doldrums as she waits for a definite, long-term contract from any one of the main TV networks.
There are rumors that the actress might return to her home studio ABS-CBN for 17 years. There are reports that her camp is already negotiating to some ABS-CBN executives, no confirmation from them yet.
Anyways, Claudine’s two-year contract with GMA Network expired two years ago. Her last major project with the Kapuso Network was the fantasy series “Iglot,” which she top-billed with Jolina Magdangal. She last appeared in TV5’s weekly docu-drama “Untold Stories.”
Claudine is really nowhere to go when she gained negative feedback especially when a video of that incident emerged and circulated (See: Video of Claudine Barreto and Raymart Santiago Vs. Ramon “Mon” Tulfo incident in NAIA Terminal 3). The other side of Claudine manifested in that video, whether her reason was acceptable or not- it was a major blow in her already struggling career.
Claudine is currently managed by Vic Del Rosario of Viva Artists Management.
If ever ABS-CBN will accept her again, the question is, will the Kapamilya viewers accept Claudine again?
