The supposed to be TV series of 2011 will now be an indie movie. According to reports, this upcoming indie movie titled “Cain at Abel” will be produced by GMA Films. Well, this is good news for GMA Films that aside from venturing into TV, they will also venture in doing indie movies.
GMA Network announced in 2011 that they’ll be doing “Cain at Abel” as teleserye with Dingdong and Aljur as their lead stars but it was cancelled. The supposed to be leading ladies here are Heart Evangelista for Dingdong and Rhian Ramos for Aljur. It was the very bone of contention that separated Marian and Heart (the days of the remake of movie “Temptation Island”). Recall that Marian reportedly disliked the idea that Heart was to co-star with her boyfriend. The revelation to this effect from Heart herself ignited Marian’s wrath.
Aljur was replaced now by Alden whose acting is pretty much desirable. Though we have seen Aljur improved a lot on his last project “Coffe Prince,” I think, Alden is much hotter and very visible.
This indie movie will be based on the story on Bible about about the first two sons of Adam and Eve. Anyways, who do you think will play the role of Cain, the wicked one, and who will portray Abel, the righteous one?
