“Wowowillie” host Willie Revillame announced on Tuesday on his noontime show that he will no longer renewing his contract with TV5 when it expires in October.
“Wowowillie” show host Willie Revillame announced yesterday that he has already told Kapatid network of his decision through a letter last May 17. The network accepted his decision, he said. The 50-year-old TV host said “burnout” is the main reason why he wanted to take a long vacation after “Wowowillie” ends this October.
On TV5’s official Twitter account, the network said they respect the game show host decision and in fact wish him well in his plans:
“We respect the decision of Mr. Willie Revillame to retire upon the expiry of his contract with TV5. We wish him well in his new pursuits.”
