“The Legal Wife” will mark the return of Angel Locsin on Primetime Bida. Her last drama series was way back in 2010 when she appeared in the fantasy series “Imortal” alongside John Lloyd Cruz. As to the driving story or plot behind the new series, not much is known. The teaser trailer also doesn’t show much except for a glorified slideshow of the show’s main cast which includes Jericho Rosales, Angel Locsin, Maja Salvador and JC de Vera.
I admit, I’m excited for ABS-CBN’s “The Legal Wife” because this is the comeback soap of Angel after a long absence from television, more so with Angel’s legion of fans. Plus the fact that the other cast members are acclaimed actors.
“The Legal Wife” is directed by Rory Quintos and Dado Lumibao is part of the television company’s celebrations for its 60th anniversary of providing quality television shows for Filipinos here and abroad.
