Actress-vlogger and TV host Alex Gonzaga revealed that she is finally pregnant with her first child with husband Mikee Morada after years of waiting and heartbreak.
On May 21, Alex shared the emotional news through her social media pages by posting a video montage featuring moments from their journey as a couple, including clips of her growing baby bump and memories from their previous pregnancy losses.
In the caption of her post, Alex opened up about their six-year journey toward parenthood and the challenges they faced along the way.
“After almost 6 years of marriage and 3 heartbreaking losses, we never lost faith and continued to surrender everything to the Lord. While preparing for IVF, the Lord Jesus blessed us with a natural pregnancy,” Alex wrote.
IVF, or in vitro fertilization, is a medical procedure used to help individuals and couples conceive a child.
The content creator also thanked everyone who supported and prayed for them throughout their journey.
“We want to thank everyone who prayed with us, hoped with us, and supported us through this journey to becoming parents. By God’s grace, our prayers have been answered, and we are finally going to be mommy and daddy,” she added.
Alex concluded her message by asking for continued prayers for a safe and healthy pregnancy.
“The Lord Jesus truly answers prayers. Please continue praying with us for a safe and healthy pregnancy until our baby arrives,” she said.
The announcement quickly drew emotional reactions from fans and fellow celebrities, many of whom have closely followed Alex and Mikee’s journey over the years.
Alex and Mikee got engaged in December 2019 and tied the knot in November 2020 after being together for nearly a decade. The couple was reportedly introduced to each other by Piolo Pascual.
Earlier this year, Mikee revealed in a vlog by Toni Gonzaga that Alex had suffered another miscarriage in January 2025, marking the couple’s third pregnancy loss following miscarriages in 2021 and 2023.
As of writing, Alex and Mikee have yet to reveal how many months pregnant she is.
