Well, the answer is the Janno Gibbs-Manilyn Reynes starrer soap titled “My Best Friend Forever” (My BFF). This is the reason why Manilyn signed an exclusive contract with GMA Network after a very succesful TV series “Got to Believe” on ABS-CBN.
Janno and Manilyn were first paired up in “That’s Entertainment” (a youth-oriented talent and variety show that was formerly aired by GMA Network for a decade, from 1986 to 1996 and hosted by German Moreno).
Janno and Manilyn were both teens then who were gifted in singing. Since then, their tandem became a popular love team. Their relationship turned into a real-life romance due to consistent partnerships in movies and TV shows. They co-starred in numerous movies together, like “Payaso” (1986), “Stupid Cupid” (1988), “Super Inday and the Golden Bibe” (1988), “Petrang Kabayo at ang Pilyang Kuting” (1988), “Me and Ninja Liit” (1988), “Magic to Love” (1989), “Feel na Feel” (1990), “Love ko si Ma’am” (1991), and “Ligaw-ligawan, Kasal-kasalan, Bahay-bahayan” (1993) among others.
To be directed by Roderick Lindayag, Janno and Manilyn will be joined by Kapuso child wonders Mona Louise Rey and Jillian Ward with Katrina Halili and Kimpee de Leon. This will be the first time that the top Kapuso child wonders will work on a project together.
