Think of a perfect wedding and everyone will scream “It’s DongYan’s wedding!!!” No one can top this “royal wedding” by a couple celebrity so far. It was even compared to Princess Diana and Prince Charles (Prince of Wales) wedding on July 1981. It was one magical and very-romantic event of every girls’ dream.
December 30, 2014 when actor Dingdong Dantes officially exchanged vows with Marian Rivera at Immaculate Conception Cathedral in Quezon City. Witnessed by prominent people that includes President Benigno Aquino III and friends in showbiz industry over 700 in sum gathered on this day to show love and support to the couple.
But there was one that caught the attention of, not only those who attended, but internationally as well. The very huge wedding cake then became the most popular of them all for its size and creative design. It was a 5-tiered cake towering 12-foot and had to be carried by 10 people to put inside the reception venue.
ABC News “Good Morning America” even picked the photo and cited as the “world’s largest cake.” The Guinness Worlds Record current record-holder for world’s largest cake was way back in 2004 in New England.
DongYan’s wedding cake was adorned with 3D map, weighed 120 kilos and studded with Swarovski crystals and butterfly details. Made by Goldilocks, which Dingdong endorses, and according to Pinky Yee, it took them a month to finish the cake.
No official statement yet if this as been beaten up the current record-holder.
