It is not easy to act in front of camera, especially when people are watching around you. Actors are studying the script and internalizing before they act in front of camera to make sure that they can perform the character they are portraying. It will take them also more guts and confidence to perfect the character they portray.

But one episode of “Eat Bulaga” caught the attention of netizens because Maine Mendoza shows that she can act! In the scene of ‘Kalyeserye’, Maine a.k.a Yaya Dub is reading a letter from her birth mother telling that she will be home soon to spend more time with her. That made her cry.
Yaya Dub cries because everybody knows that Lola Nidora is the one raised her. They already have a special bond together and the thought of them just being apart makes them sad. After what they had gone through, Lola Nidora is not ready to be separated with Yaya Dub.
That scene became special because the two actors involved showed an effortless acting. Tears were running down their cheeks and the sadness everyone is looking for came out directly from their eyes. No words were needed to tell that Yaya Dub and Lola Nidora were both lonely.
Maine Mendoza immediately gets praises from netizens on how good she can act. She also affected and moved ‘Kalyeserye’ fans. Even Tidora and Tinidora were joking around, she didn’t lose her character. One trait a good actor should have.
