Kara David
Kara Patria David was born on September 12, 1973. A journalist by profession and television host. She is the news anchor of News to Go at GMA Network, as well as a host and writer for i-Witness. She is also the host of GMA TV primetime “Power House”. She is the founder and president of Project Malasakit, she established this foundation to help the people she has featured in her documentaries.
She was the only woman named in 2007’s Ten Outstanding Young Men (TOYM) award. Kara was awarded the Outstanding Women in the Nation’s Service (TOWNS award) n 2010. Kara David won the Peabody Award, and the second Filipino to win this award.
Gerphil Flores
Born on September 29, 1990. Gerphil-Geraldine Flores is a Filipina classical crossover singer. She rose to fame in 2015 when she joined ‘Asia’s Got Talent’ where she recelved a standing ovation from the judges and audience. She placed 3rd during the finals. She was dubbed as “Asia’s Golden Girl”.
