Julie Anne San Jose
Julie Anne Peñaflorida San Jose was born May 17, 1994 in Novaliches, Quezon City. A singer and actress who is a contract artist of GMA. Her album ‘Julie Anne San Jose’ sold more than 150,000 units locally in which she received the Diamond Record Award from the Philippine Association of the Record Industry. Her second album entitled “Deeper” also gave her a double platinum award for reaching sales of more than 300,000 units.
She was a mulitimedia artist since 2012 , having a multiple support roles and her first major solo concert in 2013. Julie Anne is an active Junior Ambassadors of Organisasyon ng Pilipinong Mang-aawit (OPM). She represent and promote Filipino Music to the young. She is also the newest celebrity advocate of World Vision, an international child-focused non-government organization which mainly promotes children’s rights, education and well-being.
Sunshine Dizon
Born as Margaret Sunshine Dizon-Tan in 1983 to Isagani Bengzon Dizon and Dorothy Cansancio Dizon. She is the youngest in their family. Her mother who was then a producer of films and TV shows, noticed her interest in show business at her young age. She entered Philippine show business at the age of three. Her first movie was “God’s Little Children”.
Sunshine and her mom left for the United States when she was six years old after a few months, to follow her father. In 1989 , she received her first recognition award as Best Actress from FAMAS.
In television, she became a regular on “Bubble Gang.” She also became part of “That’s Entertainment” for six months. She was doing movies and tv series from 1999-2012. And in 2013, Dizon has made her acting comeback in “Mundo Mo’y Akin” where she plays Perlita Mendoza.
The appearance of Dizon’s character in Mundo Mo’y Akin is quite similar to her previous titular role in “Bakekang,” where in 2006 she received a Best Actress by PMPC Star Awards.
