“MMK” and “Wansapanataym” continue their winning streaks against their rival shows – “Magpakailanman” and “Ismol Family.” Last Saturday’s episode of “MMK” talks about the life story of “Pinoy Big Brother 737” Big Winner Miho Nishida and her painful past while the “Wansapanataym Presents: Susi ni Sisay” was topbilled by Jolina Magdangal, Marvin Agustin, Tetchie Agbayani and Matet de Leon with Sharlene San Pedro and Jairus Aquino.
“It’s Showtime” regains momentum; Alden Richard’s absence badly affects the ‘Kalyeserye’ ratings
The New year 2016 brings back the limelight to ABS-CBN noontime show “It’s Showtime” for they again ruled the ratings race with 15.5% against “Eat Bulaga” with 15.2% on Monday, January 11. ‘Tawag ng Tanghalan’s’ comeback on television as one of “It’s Showtime’s” newest segment is quite refreshing and brings nostalgia especially those who have watched this TV show until early ’70s.
Meanwhile, Alden Richard’s absence on the ‘Kalyeserye’ and Yaya Dub’s newest pair Jake Ejercito failed to impressed the TV audience for the ratings to suffer, making “It’s Showtime” won that day. Will this be the start of “It’s Showtime’s” reign on noontime again? We’ll see in the coming days…
