The entertainment piece about ‘Maria Ozawa having a one night stand with Cesar Montano‘ circulated and spread like wildfire on social media which was later claimed by Ozawa as a mere ‘joke’.
The former Japanese adult celebrity later went to her social media accounts to share her disappointments and contemplate at the whole joke gone bad fiasco. This didn’t stop many Filipino netizen to continually circulate and poke fun of the whole debacle even calling Cesar Montano as the “last hokage”.
Various entertainment portals have attempted to get the reaction or any statement from Cesar Montano, but the actor at the receiving end of the ‘bad’ joke prefer to remain silent about it. This didn’t stop some members of the press from being persistent to ask the controversial actor about Maria Ozawa’s confession on having a ‘one night stand’ with him (later on claimed as a joke) in the ‘Good Times with DJ Mo’ podcast.

In Cesar Montano’s visit at the wake of the late-Wenn Deramas at the Arlington Memorial Chapels in Quezon City last March 11, 2016, members of the press asked him a series of questions pertaining to his memories of the late director; but when asked about the recent Ozawa issue, Cesar Montano has only this to say…
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry to disappoint you pero nandito po ako para makiramay.”
(“I’m sorry, I’m sorry to disappoint you but I am here to give my condolences.“)
We can see that Cesar Montano is doing a ‘smart play’ here, because what is there left to say anyway especially that Maria Ozawa has already clarified that this was imply a case of a ‘joke gone bad’. Cesar Montano is a celebrity at the end of the day who deals with rumors and controversies on a regular basis. One good example that comes to mind is the many issues involving his estranged wife Sunshine Cruz.
