Star Cinema blockbuster “The Ghost Bride,” topbilled by Kapamilya star Kim Chiu is set give Filipino homes a thrilling weekend as it premieres this April 14 and 15 on ABS-CBN TVplus’ KBO, which is now open to all networks.
The movie is about a girl named Mayen (Kim Chiu), who agrees to become a ‘ghost bride,’ or someone who marries a dead person in exchange for money. However, strange things start to happen when the spirit of the man she marries becomes possessive of her.
It also marks Chiu’s reunion with Matteo Guidicelli.
Some women really choose to become ghost brides in real life as Chiu herself said that she has a grandmother who was a ghost bride.
