Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion is a loveteam sensation during the 80’s. The two were married in 1984 but did not work out. They filed an annulment in 1987.
They had several movies before the break up such as Dear Heart (1981), P.S. I Love you (1981), My Only Love (1982), Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin? (1984), and a Hirap at Ginhawa (1984)
After 1987, both artists parted ways. However, the couple eventually moved on from their hurts and was open again to the idea of working together yet remained as friends. They had a movie reunion on 1990 titled “Bakit Ikaw Pa Rin?” Then, the spark reignited, and they ended up making two more movies Una Kang Naging Akin (1991) and Tayong Dalawa (1992).
This year, Gabby and Sharon reunited again in McDonald’s TV commercial. Fans began to request for another reunion movie, which immediately caught Star Magic’s attention.
According to Philstar’s source, Sharon already agreed to make a movie with Gabby. Sadly, there is a downside on Gabby’s part.
Megastar Sharon Cuneta’s only request is to have a one-on-one meeting with the ex-husband. However, Gabby is currently too busy doing other things such as going to events in San Diego, California and a wedding in Davao. Maybe after that, the actor can finally talk to Sharon.
The more unfortunate news is Sharon might run out of patience before Gabby can find the time. There are rumors that the actress is no longer buying Gabby’s excuses.
