Sofia Andres tried to quit the showbiz industry. In an interview with PEP.ph, she also confessed that it became her solution to issues and controversies thrown at her.
She also explained that she compared her experience to veteran actors and actresses.
In the said interview, Sofia also asked herself whether she wanted to push through or not.
“May ganun po, pero parang (sa) level ko po ngayon, parang wala pa akong right to say it. Pero dumaan ako sa point na sinabi ko sa sarili ko na, ‘Itutuloy ko pa ba?’ Kasi parang nakaka-torture. Iniisip ko na lang na, what more yung mga veterans, what more yung mas mga sikat, they’re experiencing much worse na pamba-bash. What more ako na baguhan lang? Siguro ako, hangga’t kaya pa, mananatili ako sa showbiz.”
According to Sofia, she will try to enjoy her short vacation and use the said moment to think for a while. She also shared that Star Magic had tried to talk to her about her career.
“Right now, I’m not doing anything, kasi gusto ko munang magpahinga at mag isip-isip for a while. Um-agree naman po sila, sinabi nila sa akin na may ganun talaga. Kaya naman ngayon, I’m resting. In a couple of months, I’m ready to work again for a new project.”
Sofia also thought of going back to school.
“Parang gusto ko nga pong bumalik sa school now, e, para habang naghihintay ako ng project may ginagawa ako.”
