“Dito ko po talaga malalaman kung kaya ko ba ng wala siya.” Nadine Lustre on starring in a movie without James Reid

  • James Reid and Nadine Lustre had started to receive and accept projects separate from each other.
  • Nadine also expressed her excitement on working with everyone.
  • She also joked that this became an opportunity for her to know whether she can do well without him.

James Reid and Nadine Lustre had started to receive and accept projects separate from each other. Nadine is currently on the pre-production process for her movie, Ulan, with Xian Lim, Marco Gumabao and AJ Muhlach.

Meanwhile, James had started promoting his movie with Xian and Sarah Geronimo, Miss Granny.

The said movie also only had their story conference in June 20, Wednesday in Viva Films board room. Irene Villamor will also direct the story she had started working on in 2005. However, she revised some points to fit 2018. Nadine also denied to tell the story of her character.

Nadine also expressed her excitement on working with everyone.

“We’re really excited, working with everyone. This is my first time to work with Xian Lim and Marco Gumabao. Actually, itong project na ito, last year pa kami nag-meet. Yung story talaga, gustung-gusto ko siya. It’s more on self-love kasi. I’m huge advocate of self-love. Maraming pagbabago na mangyayari sa character ko because of the experiences.”

Nadine also revealed that they had already met the past year to talk about the story.

“Last year pa kami nag-meeting about this and yung story kasi gustong-gusto ko siya, it’s more self love.”

Nadine also joked that this became an opportunity for her to know whether she can do well without James.

“It’s new, parang bagong stepping stone siya para sa akin kasi nga this time hiwalay kami ni James. Dito ko po talaga malalaman kung kaya ko ba ng wala siya. Joke!”

Then, Nadine expressed how this will become an opportunity for their own careers to grow.

“I mean it’s healthy to be able to work separately and to work together at the same time. At least we both grow together and [get] to work separately.”

Nadine also looked forward on working with director Irene Villamor.

“It’s big thing for me to be able to work with Direk Irene, kasi nga yung mga naging project niya before. And I’m really, really excited talaga kasi maganda talaga yung story.”
