Gabby Concepcion remains a Kapuso after renewing his contract with the network.
Present during the contract signing are Chairman & CEO of GMA Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, Senior Vice President of GMA Entertainment TV Ms. Lilybeth G. Rasonable, and the actor’s manager Popoy Caritativo.
Before signing the contract, Gabby shared a quote on Instagram that goes, “Sometimes when you least expect it, good things happen.”
Gabby’s last show in GMA was the drama series Ika-6 Na Utos which ended last March. After the soap bowed out, Gabby continued doing TV guestings for the network. “Tumitibok ang aking puso sa Kapuso.”
The veteran actor revealed that he has an upcoming project with GMA.
According to him, “Itong darating na ito is new. Bago rin ‘yung mga kasama ko.
“Never ko pa siyang nakakasama, and it’s exciting. It’s another role na gagawin ko, it’s another project na again, katulad nung naramdaman ko nung Because Of You at saka Ika-6 Na Utos, ganun ‘yung feeling, ganun ka-excited.
“Syempre after Ika-6 Na Utos, kailangan mabigyan ‘yan ng follow-up na matindi, at ‘yan ang gagawin natin. We will have another soap, this time it’s going to be on primetime.
“Expect something new, at saka bagong tambalan din na I think magugustuhan ng audience.”
Atty. Gozon expressed his gratitude to the actor. “Alam naman ng lahat na si Gabby isa sa mga pinakamagaling na artista ‘yan, walang kupas.
“Lahat ng ginawa niya sa ‘tin nagre-rate so tayo’y nagpapasalamat na pumayag siyang mag-renew sa atin. We are hoping to give him more projects. ‘Yan ang klase ng mga tao na walang kupas.”
Details about Gabby Concepcion’s new project are yet to be announced.
