- However, the script had shifted three weeks before the show will end.
Alessandra de Rossi finally breaks her silence about her disappointment on her role in the now-concluded romance-drama series ‘Since I Found You’.
Although a little too late, the actress explained that her distress is not against the network, but to the script itself.
Alessandra revealed, “Nang in-offer siya sa akin, leading lady talaga siya.
“I mean, kilala n’yo naman ako eversince. Bago ‘yun, 2 years akong walang show. Dahil lahat tinatanggihan ko, lahat ayokong role, lahat.
“Finally may role na gusto ko. Kasi leading lady, parang ‘bago ‘to, ah. Try nga natin.’
“‘Yun. Nag-abot naman ako ng kape saka papel kay Papa P.”
Alessandra has a new movie under Viva Films titled ‘Through Night and Day’ opposite Paolo Contis.
She said that if only she knew then that she will not be playing the leading lady of Piolo in the series, she would’ve done the movie a long time ago.
“So, I don’t know kung ano ang nakarating (sa media), ‘yung tampo and all, but hindi ‘yun ‘yung in-offer sa akin na role and kung alam ko lang na mag-aabot lang pala ako ng kape, ginawa ko na ‘to (Through Night and Day) agad, kasi, naghihintay ‘tong movie na ‘to.
“Ganu’n lang siya. I don’t know kung paano siya napalaki ng ibang tao, hindi ko na alam ‘yung part na ‘yun.”
She added that she was only informed that she wasn’t the leading lady when the series was about to end.
“Iba ‘yung in-offer sa akin. Ibang-iba talaga. So, knowing me na ‘yun nga, very picky sa projects, sobra, kahit magutom ako, eh, hindi ko gagawin basta ayaw ko.
“So, parang ‘asan ‘yun in-offer, wala yata dito, ah.’ Tapos na nu’ng sinabi sa akin, three weeks to go na lang.”
“Ganu’n po ‘yung pakiramdam. ‘Yung akala mo, magiging kayo pero friends lang pala kayo. ‘Yung ganu’ng klaseng pakiramdam.”
