It looks like the former Kapamilya star’s decision to return in showbiz, this time on GMA Network is really the best decision he has made so far. Manolo Pedrosa will be back soon on television as Kyline Alcantara‘s love team in ‘Inagaw na Bituin.’
This will be his third project on GMA Network after signing with GMA Artist Center in July last year.
After three years of showbiz hiatus due to medical condition (bulging disc), Manolo signed with GMA Artist Center in July last year and immediately paired with Kapuso leading ladies – Bianca Umali and Kyline Alcantara in ‘Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko.’
After his short stint in the weekly series, he was immediately paired with Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Gabbi Garcia in ‘Pamilya Roces.’

And maybe because of his first show with Kyline, Manolo passed on the audition as Kyline’s leading man in the upcoming series ‘Inagaw na Bituin.’
Talking to PEP.ph, Manolo said, “I would really say yung Daig Ka ng Lola Ko. Kasi, the way I see it, parang it was a test. A test of chemistry, kumbaga. A test of kung bagay nga kami, hindi lamang sa camera, kundi yung personality. Kung click ba sila o comfortable ba sila, ganun.”
A drama-musical show, ‘Inagaw na Bituin’ is in the tradition of Sharon Cuneta’s ‘Bituing Walang Ningning.’ Also starring Teri Malvar and Migo Adecer, completing the cast. Kapuso veteran artists such as Sunshine Dizon and Angelika dela Cruz who made “Ika-6 Na Utos” top-rating, Marvin Agustin of “Kambal, Karibal”, and Gabby Eigenmann of “Contessa” are also part of the series.
