Uson took this challenge and claimed that she wasn’t ashamed of her past as a sexy entertainer. She, then, noted that she used to be a Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW).
“Hindi ko po ikinahihiya na ako ay dating sexy performer/entertainer. Naging OFW din po ako sa DOHA QATAR bilang banda. At dahil sa aking karanasan nalaman ko ang pinagdadaanan ng mga kababayan natin lalo na po ang OFW at mga ordinaryong Pilipino.”
Netizens noted that one of the most iconic projects that Uson ever had as a sexy entertainer was her role in Four Sisters and a Wedding where she allowed Angel Locsin to drag her by the hair.
Mocha claimed “tunay na pagbabago” already happened.
Uson recalled that in the 2016 Philippine Presidential Elections, now-President Rodrigo Duterte, she cheered for the “tunay na pagbabago.”
“Noong pong tumakbo si PRRD ang sigaw natin ay DUTERTE para sa TUNAY NA PAGBABAGO at ngayon po na siya ay Pangulo na dapat ay ang sigaw na natin ay AKO ANG TUNAY NA PAGBABAGO. Kaya yan po ay ating isinabuhay.”
Mocha will run for Congress.
Uson vowed to help and be the real change as she runs for Congress.
“At sa ating pagtakbo sa Kongreso nais po nating matulungan ang ating mga kababayan na magkaroon ng tunay na pagbabago sa kanilang buhay. Mula sa isang simpleng mamamayan patungo sa isang pagiging maliit na negosyante. Mula sa OFW patungo sa isang entrepreneur. Kaya po huwag natin ikahiya ang ating nakaraan at gamitin po ito bilang aral sa atin para sa kinabukasan.”
