  • Khalil faced several challenges to find the “secret spice” of Nagoya and ended up outperforming singer-actor Daniel Sher of Singapore and actor-model Tay Tawan of Thailand.

There is no stage that Filipinos cannot conquer — even a Japanese game show — as Kapamilya star Khalil Ramos defeated other Asian artists and conquered all the missions of the reality-game show “Find the Wasabi in Nagoya,” streaming on ABS-CBN’s streaming service iWant.

Khalil faced several challenges to find the “secret spice” of Nagoya and ended up outperforming singer-actor Daniel Sher of Singapore and actor-model Tay Tawan of Thailand.

As his prize, the Kapamilya star had the chance to perform with one of Japan’s biggest boybands “Boys and Men” in their concert at Nagoya Dome, which was attended by 35,000 people.

For five episodes, Khalil, who is also hailed as the first Pinoy top hunter, showcased his skills and wit in every task, while discovering the unique culture of Japan. Aside from the gripping race of the Asian artists, the show also featured some of Nagoya’s breathtaking tourist spots and mouth-watering cuisines that viewers can also enjoy.

Khalil is only one of the Filipino artists who brought pride to the country as ABS-CBN continues to champion Filipino talent on the world stage.

Watch Khalil and his journey to becoming the first Pinoy top hunter on iWant for free via its iOS or Android apps or via web browser on iwant.ph. More subscribers can also get their iWant craving in the comfort of their own homes as they can already connect the streaming service to their TVs via Chromecast and Apple Airplay.

iWant is one of the digital initiatives of ABS-CBN, the Philippines’ leading media and entertainment company, which is rapidly transitioning into an agile digital company with the biggest online presence among all media companies, and a growing list of digital properties.

Mobile subscribers can also enjoy their favorite movies and shows on iWant whenever and wherever they are by subscribing to the telcoproviders’ respective promos. Smart, TNT, and Sun subscribers can now stream iWant videos via Smart Gigasurf 99 with Video Every Day for only P99, which comes with 2 GB data for surfing and all apps and an additional 1 GB per day to watch up to one hour of videos every day, valid for seven days. Globe mobile customers, meanwhile, can enjoy video streaming of their favorite Kapamilya movies and TV shows on iWant for as low as P29 with GoWATCH. To register, just text GOWATCH29 to 8080 and get 2 GB or up to five hours of streaming for iWant and other video apps & sites valid for one day.
