Before becoming one of the famous artists today, Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera finished her education with a degree of Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at De La Salle University in Dasmariñas, Cavite.

“Kapag hindi ka ma­galing mag-Ingles pero maprinsipyo ka sa buhay mo, kapag mahal kang anak, mabait kang kaibigan, ibig sabihin pa nu’n bobo ka? Aanhin ko ang kagalingan sa pag-i-Ingles kung hindi naman ako marunong dumiskarte at hindi ako mapagmahal sa mga magulang ko, o nakakalimutan ko ang mga kaibigan ko. Kung ang definition ng pagiging matalino ay mag-English lang, ‘wag na lang akong maging matalino,” Marian said.

Recently, Rivera admitted the she is not that good in speaking English and this earned praised from her supporters for being honest about her weak points. Bashers expressed how they feel toward Marian’s manner of speaking English.

She is really not used to having roles who speak English, but still she is able to deliver her best for her role’s requirements.

Also, she pointed out that being fluent in speaking English is not the measurement of one’s intelligence.

She is proud to be a Psychology graduate and earning such degree is no big joke.
