- Anthony Pangilinan reacted to Donny Pangilinan’s fans regarding the DonKiss loveteam break-up
- He expressed his opinion by saying that he believes and supports ABS-CBN and Star Magic’s decision for Donny Pangilinan and Kisses Delavin
- Kisses will be having her solo concert on April 25 but Donny wasn’t mentioned as her guest
After the alleged rumors that ‘DonKiss’ (as what fans call the loveteam of Donny Pangilinan and Kisses Delavin) is going through separation, Anthony Pangilinan, Donny’s father, expressed his sentiments to dismayed fans.
This was after the said loveteam became invisible on television after their last teleserye, “Playhouse,” had concluded.
Donny and Kisses have earned the support of their fans from the very beginning of their career as loveteam.
And many of their fans are anticipating the next project they (Donny and Kisses) will do together.
But the loveteam’s silence followed by no further planned projects created a buzz online that the DonKiss loveteam is going to break up.
In a post written by Pangilinan, a fan replied, “Nakakapagod na pong manghula kung ano ba ang nangyayari, masakit na din ang biglang panlalamig sa amin..so nasa stage kami ng let go, let God and just love them. I just want to thank Donny coz though he continues on his new journey we do not feel abandoned.”

A certain fan commented and even accused them (Donny’s handlers) of wanting a solo career for Donny.
“we all had high hopes w/ donkiss but what can we do? D’s team wanted a solo career and only a per project basis w/ K. starmagic and abs will not gamble on that set up. let’s just be prepared coz in time hahanapan talaga nila ng permanent loveteam si K, sooner than we thought maybe..”

But Pangilinan defended the decision of ABSCBN and Star Magic. He believes that whatever they have decided for Donny and Kisses was based on career plans and expectations, and what they see is best for all.

Currently, Donny’s reel-partner, Kisses is having her social media break in preparation for her upcoming solo concert A Life Full of Kisses that will happen at The Music Museum, Greenhills Shopping Center, San Juan City, on April 25.
According to a post by Star Magic, tickets for her solo concert is already sold out!
