Award-winning veteran actress Jaclyn Jose praised co-star Andrea Torres’ huge acting improvement.
In an interview with the entertainment press during the press conference of their latest primetime series The Better Woman, Jose praised Torres’ big improvement in her acting.
“Nakita ko yung improvement ang laki! Ang laki ng improvement mula noong The Millionaire’s Wife. Ang galing niya. ‘Tsaka may potensyal naman talaga si Ada (Andrea Torres) noon pa, Millionaire’s pa okay na siya pero dito kita ko yung ‘ay ang laki ng inimprove,’” said Jaclyn.
Jaclyn is playing the mother of Andrea in GMA Network’s latest primetime drama The Better Woman.
The two had worked in several GMA teledramas in the past.

They first worked together in The Millionaire’s Wife which was followed up by the two Alyas Robin Hood series.
Jaclyn has really witnessed Andrea’s progress when it comes to acting.
Meanwhile, Torres said she was happy to be working again with the internationally acclaimed actress.
“Third time na namin magkatrabaho, kaya ko siya gustong-gusto kasi para ko siyang mommy. Like kung paano kami ni Derek (Ramsay) hindi ko ma-explain kung bakit nagji-jive kami ng ganun. Ganun din kami ni Ms. Jaclyn Jose so nung sinabi na siya yung mommy ko, kinilig ako kasi sabi ko ‘Ay mapapadali agad ‘yung trabaho ko,’” said Torres.
The Better Woman is the latest GMA teledrama which is set to premiere on July 1, 2019.
Aside from Torres and Jose, it will also feature hunky actor Derek Ramsay. This will be Derek’s first drama series with GMA network after transferring from TV5.
Derek also shared his take on working with the veteran actress. Derek described working with her as an intense experience.
“Grabe she’s intense! When I say intense kaya niya gawin ‘yung minimal acting na intense pa rin,” said Ramsay.
The Better Woman will feature Andrea in a dual role as it tells the story of twin sisters who’ll eventually fight for the love of a man played by Ramsay.
Aside from the three, the series will also star Ina Feleo, Marco Alcaraz, Ashley Rivera, Paolo Paraiso, and Frances Makil-Ignacio.
The Better Woman will take over the timeslot of Sahaya which was moved to an earlier timeslot replacing Kara Mia.
