Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo moved viewers to tears again as she sang the song “Bakit Nga Ba Mahal Kita” by Roselle Nava in The Greatest Showdown segment of ASAP Natin ‘To last Sunday, June 9.

Her heartrending performance hit many television viewers  and has gone viral on social media.

Twitter has been bombarded with tweets about Sarah’s moving performance earning 31,000 likes and more than 7,000 retweets. A clip of her performance already has 437,000 views.

One of the most retweeted tweets is that of a Geronimo fan that went, “Inaano ka namin Sarah G?!” It has gotten various comments from netizens. Many felt the pain with her ‘nakakapanakit’ or hurtful version that even when they aren’t broken-hearted, they seemed to feel like they were.

Even celebrities shared their sentiments with Geronimo’s tear-jerking performance. 

Just recently, the Popstar Royalty won as Best Actress for her exceptional performance in the Filipino adaptation of the Korean film Miss Granny during the 35th Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) Star Awards for Movies last June 2. Fellow artist Kathryn Bernardo also won the same award for the film, The Hows of Us.

Aside from this, Geronimo has also launched her own makeup line ‘Pop Studio’ that she’s excited to share to her fans. She is also set to return as a coach on ABS-CBN’s new season of  The Voice Kids.
