Almost two months after the controversy, Bea Alonzo and Julia Barretto crossed paths at the ABS-CBN Ball 2019 held at Shangri-La at The Fort, last September 14, Saturday.

Wearing their Modern Filipiniana gowns, the two beautiful actresses remained poised and calm during the star-studded event.

The two were able to ignore the tension brought by their circumstances. Bea and Julia remained unexpressive about their heated dispute which was formed due to an unexpected love triangle with Bea’s former boyfriend Gerald Anderson.

Some said that Bea just glared upon seeing her supposed one-time love rival, but others denied that this happened during that night.

Nonetheless, Bea and Julia still chose to respect the occasion which aimed to raise funds for Bantay Bata 163.

Bea and Julia trended on social media after the former hinted about the cheating allegations of Gerald Anderson in an Instagram post.

A viral photo of Julia and Gerald fuelled the rumors further, after reports of the two becoming close while while shooting the movie Between Maybes.

Bea later confirmed that she was “ghosted” by her boyfriend of almost three years Gerald which he denied. Julia and Gerald then stated that they are just friends, not lovers. Through her social media post, the young actress accused Bea of bullying for liking several posts about her supposed relationship with Gerald. Since then, Julia became the target of criticisms while Bea gained most of the support of netizens.
