Vice Ganda and Ion Perez have kept the public guessing about the true status of their relationship for several months now. Recently, at the story con of the movie Mang Kepweng, Ion made a statement about this issue.
Ion confirmed that both of them are just really close. “Ano lang kami, sobrang malapit lang kami sa isa’t isa, kaya siguro yung mga tao sobrang nag-iisip sila… ganoon yung reaksiyon nila. Sobrang malapit lang kami sa isa’t isa. Sobrang close kami… close na close kami ni Vice, parang hindi na rin siya naiiba sa akin.”

“Malay natin! May konting ano naman, minsan napapansin niyo… pero biru-biruan lang kami.”

An interview with Vice was done at the recent Star Magic All-Star Games basketball match was uploaded on the Instagram account of Tonight With Boy Abunda. The It’s Showtime host was asked whom he thinks is the best basketball player on his team. “I think si Ion ang pinakamagaling. I heard si Ion ang pinakamagaling,” he replied with a big smile.
Vice even mentioned that she watched Ion train for this basketball match. “Ako, oo. Kumuha pa kami ng coach from NBA to personally make tutok sa kanya. Magaling, magaling ‘yan. Tataya akong P1,500.”
When asked about Ion’s statement which caused bashers to go after him, Vice Ganda responded, “Ay, happy lang kami. Happy lang kami, Sa happiness lang tayo.”
It was in the March 17 episode of Gandang Gabi Vice when Vice said that she was happy with her love life. Adding to the speculations was Ion’s surprise appearance on the show and their sweet posts on social media.
