Kapamilya young star Markus Paterson admitted to feeling jealous about the tandem of Janella Salvador and Joshua Garcia.
In an interview with Boy Abunda on Tonight With Boy Abunda, the young actor said that he felt jealous at first of the team-up of Janella and Joshua in The Killer Bride.
“Noong una, yes [nagselos ako] of course that’s a natural thing but you’ve got to think about it, it’s work. Silang dalawa ay sobrang husay na artista, the chemistry’s great,” said Markus.
“Alam mo yung unang feeling na konting selos na butterflies but when I thought about it well it’s work and they’re both good about what they do and they can create chemistry just like that because they’re friends already. Nawala naman lahat and Josh is a great guy,” he explained.
Although he did not directly admit that they are in a relationship, Markus said Janella is special to him.
He also did not deny what’s going on between them but said they want to keep it to themselves first whatever it is for now.

“What we have is between us and we want to keep it that way. Obviously, because she said she didn’t want to have a relationship with the world, she’s experienced that and I want to respect her so I’m not going to say anything, to confirm or deny it,” Markus admitted.
“We’re not hiding, we don’t hide from anyone we’re just… right now it’s not the right time for anything. She’s very successful with the show and that should keep going,” he added.
Janella and Joshua are currently co-stars in Kapamilya teleserye The Killer Bride. During an interview at the launch of their teleserye, Garcia and Salvador said they are ready for a kissing scene if it is needed.
“Game naman po kami. Ako po siguro, kasi binilang ko na yung sarili ko as actor at bilang aktor ho, kahit ano pa yan gagawin ko yan basta hindi naman ganun kalala, ‘di ba?” said Joshua.
“Kung kailangan siya sa eksena para mapaganda yung show, why not? That’s why it called art, we’re actors, actresses, ayun,” Janella added.
