Thai movies and dramas (Lakorn) has been in the Philippine scene for years now and with the rising interest of the Filipinos it was no surprise that these shows are finally aired on local TV networks.
Presently, one of the most popular types of Thai shows is called the “boys’ love” (BL), which are often shown on online video platforms like Youtube. Following the hit series are the demands from international fans for fanmeetings, and in the Philippines many rising promoters has been bringing in these Thai artists.
To cap off 2019, new Thai idol band TEMPT and actor-model Mean Phiravich are coming this November 10 and 30 respectively, who all were popularized by their BL characters.

TEMPT is a four band members composed of Perth Tanapon, Plan Rathavit, Gun Napat, and Title Kirati. They officially debuted on July 24, 2019 with their song “Tell Me This Is Love” and a debut showcase at Central World, Bangkok. They were first popularized by their characters in a boys’ love series, Love By Chance. Phiravich “MEAN” Attachitsataporn is a TV actor and model. He has been casted in many popular boys’ love series like Make It Right and Love Sick: Season 2, as a supporting actor.
