Hashtag member Kid Yambao denied the issue that Ion Perez is a user.
In a pocket interview with the bloggers, Kid defended Ion from bashers who accused the latter of using Vice Ganda for money and fame.
According to Kid, Ion wouldn’t do that because he doesn’t need money or he’s not out to become very famous.
“Knowing Ion kasi, hindi, hindi kailangan ni Ion nun eh. Nangangarap sya na magkatrabaho pero hindi sya yung taong kailangan ng pera, ng bagay, ng magagara, hindi eh. Kailangan ni Ion yun totoo sa kanya, ayun yung nakikita ko kay Ion,” Kid explained.
As one of Vice’s “anak-anakan”, Kid said that he is happy for Vice that he finally has someone to love and he described Ion as sincere and humble.
“Nakita ko kay Ion yung sincerity nya na parang totoo syang tao, ayun yung pinakamaganda kay Ion kasi parang pag nakasama mo sya yung wala syang yabang sa katawan, wala syang pagkaplastic na tao.” he said.
Last October 26, Vice finally admitted his relationship with Ion. After his Magpasikat 2019 performance, Vice introduced the love of his life Ion.
In his speech, Vice said a person doesn’t need to be loved by many but only one person who loves and accepts you.
“You don’t need to be loved by the whole world. You only need yourself and the one person that you love to accept and love you back,” said Vice.
Prior to his admission, the two are were rumored to be in a relationship for quite some time. It got more revealing when Vice shared a heartwarming message for Ion on September 25 via an Instagram post.

That really fueled the speculation that the two are already in a loving relationship.
Meanwhile, Kid is currently promoting his film Two Love You which stars Yen Santos and comedian Lassy Marquez. The movie is produced by Viva Films and is directed by Benedict Mique.
