Ivana Alawi is the newest leading lady that will heat up the afternoons as she stars in the up and coming drama series, “Ang Lihim ni Ligaya.”
This is the first TV project where Ivana plays the lead that’s why the sexy actress can’t help but get excited.
According to Arnel Nacario, the production manager of Ivana’s new show, the Ligaya project with Dreamscape Entertainment is tailor fit for the actress. He said that the overall concept of the project was made for Ivana, and not for any other artist like what some netizens claim.
“Siya talaga, talagang ginawa yung concept for her.”
The production manager clarified that Alawi’s Ligaya project with Dreamscape Entertainment is not the same as the one Star Creatives offered Maja Salvador.
Star Creatives and Dreamscape Entertainment are two different content creator teams of ABS-CBN.
It may be recalled that Maja attended a creative meeting with Star Creatives for a teleserye titled Ligaya in October 2018. It was supposed to be her next TV project after the success of ‘Wildflower” in 2017-2018. However, in 2019, the actress top-billed in the series, The Killer Bride.
In an interview with Nacario, he revealed how Ivana got the lead role.
He pointed out that her role in the defunct series Sino Ang May Sala? where she did sensual scenes with Kit Thompson attracted the attention not just of the viewers, but also of the Dreamscape Production. That is why they prepared a new drama project for her.
“Nakasama namin si Ivana sa Sino Ang May Sala?
“Kung naalala mo yung mga ginawa niya doon sa Sino Ang May Sala?, walang inhibitions, yung mga scenes nila ni Kit, sobrang sensual.
“So, talagang ito yung follow-up project at siya na yung bida dito. Tapos in between Sino Ang May Sala?, sumikat siya sa YouTube, so ito yung perfect timing for her para bigyan ng magandang project.”
Details about the upcoming drama series have not been disclosed yet, however, Nacario promises that the new show will be “sobrang sexy, sobrang sensual.”
If things go as planned, Ligaya is targeted to air as part of the afternoon lineup of ABS-CBN.
Nacario added, “Kasi parang kung maaalala mo yung mga sexy nating show, laging nasa boys, yung Los Bastardos, ganun.
“So ngayon, magka-come up kami na babae naman, si Ligaya.”
Ivana Alawi was a former contender of GMA Network’s reality-based artista search Starstruck 6. Unfortunately, she wasn’t able to take home Ultimate Survivor title.
Three years later, Alawi was cast in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano where she made an impact with many viewers. This led her to clinching another project with Dreamscape Production. She was included in the cast of Mea Culpa: Sino ang May Sala starring Jodi Sta. Maria, Bela Padilla, and Kit Thompson.
Aside from being an actress, Ivana is also a vlogger. Her YouTube channel has already 3.99 million subscribers as of this writing.
