- Myrtle Sarrosa in now a Kapuso
- On February 21, Friday, the former Kapamilya star signed a contract with GMA Artist Center
- Sarrosa had been with ABS-CBN since 2012 before transferring to GMA Network
Myrtle Sarrosa is now a certified Kapuso as she inked an exclusive contract with GMA Artist Center on Friday, February 21.
In an interview, the 25-year old actress admitted that it felt surreal now that she’s really a Kapuso.
Sarrosa said, “Hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala. Kasi bata pa lang ako, nanonood na talaga ako ng iba’t-ibang fantaserye sa GMA and ngayon na first time ko nakapasok dito sa GMA building, surreal pa siya sa ‘kin. Pero I’m so excited sa mga mangyayari dito.”
The singer-cosplayer also expressed how thankful she is to her new home network and shared how excited she is for the projects to come.
“Sobrang grateful ko rito sa GMA kasi pagpasok ko pa lang, sinabihan na nila ako na they believe in me and excited na ako sa iba’t ibang breaks na parating for me,” she stated.

Myrtle Abigail Porlucas Sarrosa rose to fame after being declared as Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition 4 Big Winner in 2012. After winning, the Cum Laude graduate with a degree in BA Broadcast Communication launched her acting and recording career.
She joined the cast of Kahit Puso’y Masugatan, a 2012 melodrama series starring Jake Cuenca, Andi Eigenmann, Gabby Concepcion, and Iza Calzado. She also became a regular performer on the weekend variety program ASAP where she was recognized as the Pop Viewer’s Choice Awardee as Pop Female Cutie. Aside from these shows, the PBB S4 Teen Edition Ultimate Batch Winner was cast in Moon of Desire (2014), Forevermore (2015), La Luna Sangre (2017), The Good Son (2018), and Wansapanataym: Mr. CUTEpido (2019) which was her last TV program with ABS-CBN.
Aside from TV shows, Sarrosa also did some movie projects like Wander Bra, Recipe for Love, Papa Pogi, Ang Henerasyong Sumuko sa Love, and Block Z.
When it comes to her music career, the singer-cosplayer has released two albums: Myrtle Sarrosa (in 2013, and Now Playing: Myrtle in 2016.

In 2018, Sarrosa made the cover FHM Philippines for their February issue and became the calendar girl of the liquor brand, Ginebra San Miguel. She also became the official muse of the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel bastketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA).
Aside from acting, cosplaying, singing, modeling, and hosting, the 25-year old actress is also a songwriter.
