Zsazsa Padilla gets emotional on ABS-CBN franchise renewal issue, slams Sen. Bato dela Rosa

ABS-CBN’s existing franchise will soon expire on March 30, 2020, and Zsa Zsa Padilla can’t help but feel emotional for the 11,000 employees of the giant network.

It also saddens her to see the number of detractors aiming to shut down ABS-CBN, as there are no replacement jobs for the current employees working with them both on-cam and off-cam.

Furthermore, Zsa Zsa slammed Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa when the latter stated that the welfare of the nation is more important than the 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN in danger of losing their jobs. As per Zsa Zsa, these 11,000 employees have families to feed and children to educate, meaning in effect more than 11,000 lives will be affected.

Nakakalungkot 😞 https://t.co/DiLpcmXCpf

Netizens expressed support for Zsa Zsa as the 11,000 employees do not deserve to be jobless just for the sake of personal vendetta.

They should THINK BIG!

I agree! People should be more considerate with their words. It’s not easy to lose a job that you love and the source of your livelihood. It’s so sad some people forget the word empathy😢

ABSCBN is not only a media organization but a giant in the service of the Filipino people. Whenever there's a calamity the network is there to deliver the news in real time and also delivering assistance to the victims.

We agree @zsazsapadilla. We are not happy here in the UK the way President Duterte, OSG, NTC, Cable Group and especially Congress handle the renewal of your mother network. They should learn how UK deals with this issues about franchise. UNDEMOCRATIC! #NoToABSCBNShutDown

In addition to that, Robin as a solid supporter of President Duterte he suddenly challenged celebrities from all networks to reveal their contracts to prove that the network provides equality to celebrities and internal employees.

Wherein Lolit Solis strongly suggest Robin should be straightforward on his intention and not include celebrities who are definitely no clue on how does the ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal issue started, he just makes the situation worse.

Aside from his tirade towards the giant network, Robin also dragged Coco Martin on his issue and revealed that the FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano director and lead star on alleged splashing water on some talents during tapings for his teleserye.

Peace be with you.
