Twitter slayer Ethen Booba is at it again, this time taking on House Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano.
In a tweet Tuesday, March 24, Ethel taunted Cayetano’s publicity stunt in Congress, where he compared himself to a frontliner, saying the speaker has been busier with the Kobe Bryant exhibit than the COVID-19 crisis.

On Monday, March 23, Speaker Cayetano together with his Deputy Speakers and Cabinet members posed for a photo-op holding a manila paper with cut-outs saying, “Together with doctors and frontliners, we went to work for you, so please stay home for us.”
Congress was in a special session that day to discuss the bill that will allow President Rodrigo Duterte to exercise special powers to address the COVID-19 crisis.
The photo meanwhile has since gone viral on social media with the majority of netizens slamming Cayetano for the gall to compare themsleves to the frontliners.

Prior to the escalation of the COVID-19 crisis, Cayetano was busy with his Kobe Bryant exhibit in Congress. Days after Kobe’s death, Cayetano mounted the exhibit in Congress. He even relaunched it in the last week of February 2019.
During those days, many were already calling for the government’s response to the nCov crisis, since it was already escalating in China and other countries.
But the Congress was way too busy with other things like the Kobe exhibit than on the coronavirus threat or even the ABS-CBN franchise renewal.
