- Senator Pimentel was tested positive for COVID-19
The Mocha Uson Blog called on Senator Koko Pimentel to resign from the senate after he breached the government-instituted quarantine protocols as one of the persons under investigation (PUI) for COVID-19. Pimentel accompanied his wife who was about to give birth to Makati Medical Center.
It was during this visit when Pimentel allegedly got the call informing him that he had tested positive for COVID-19.
A post from the MindaVote page called out the senator to resign from his position for his “stupidity.”
“Koko Pimentel, do the right thing – RESIGN NOW! You do not deserve to be a Senator. You put the lives of our doctors and nurses in danger because of your stupidity. #KokoResign”

Mocha has previously said that her blog is managed by a group of bloggers who support the Duterte administration in “bringing real change to the Philippines.”
Pimentel had been on self-quarantine at home after he was tested for COVID-19.
He broke quarantine protocol at least twice by going shopping at S&R Price Club in BGC and accompanying his wife to Makati Medical Center.
