It seems that John Lloyd Cruz was browsing through the Instagram page of his former on-screen partner, Bea Alonzo, leaving messages on her old posts, with some even dating back to 2013.
About six days ago John Lloyd unexpectedly posted on Bea Alonzo’s 2019 post on Instagram,
Because it was so out of the blue, Bea was surprised by his posts.
“2019 pa tong post ko ah, bakit ka nagbbrowse sa ig ko?”
John Lloyd even said he would contact her via Direct Message.
“@beaalonzo tampo agad. DM kita”
The exchange between the two cause several Instagram users to feel ‘kilig’. Some even made a reference to the line ‘Kayo na lang ulit’ from the “One More Chance” movie.

Recently, on their respective Instagram accounts (@beaalonzo and @dumpsitegallery), the actors revealed that everyone can watch their reunion project on the same social media platform sooner than expected.
“Over the next week, we will be performing a work of fiction on Instagram. It is a love story and it is about these times. Any resemblance to persons, living or dead, is intentional.”

Bea and John Lloyd’s love team goes back as far as 2002 when they were paired on the ABS-CBN drama ‘Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay.‘
This was followed by their other successful series like ‘It Might Be You,’ ‘Maging Sino Ka Man,‘ and ‘I Love Betty La Fea.’
Their love team reached phenomenal level with their 2007 movie ‘One More Chance,’ where they played Popoy (John Lloyd Cruz) and Basha (Bea Alonzo) which have already become part of Pinoy pop culture.
This was followed by the movie’s sequel in 2015. ‘A Second Chance’ was their last big joint project.
John Lloyd took an indefinite leave from showbiz last 2017. He came back with a cameo appearance in ‘Culion‘ in 2019.
He officially returns to the big screen as the lead star of a new film directed by renowned director Lav Diaz titled ‘Servando Magdamag.’
