Veteran Kapamilya journalist Korina Sanchez has come to the defense of Kapamilya stars Coco Martin and Kim Chiu.
In an Instagram post, the Rated K host slammed Coco and Kim’s bashers as paid trolls commissioned by the government supporters.
She said there are only two ways of handling them, either ignore or engage.
“Coco Martin and Kim Chiu are under attack from bashers. The majority of the bashers are paid trolls which supporters of this administration have heavily invested in. There’s a way to handle them. Engage or ignore. To engage is to simply speak back for everyone else to see what trash they are,” said Korina.
She then praised the two actors for having the right heart despite not being perfect in expressing their views through language.
“Coco and Kim may not be perfect in language or expression but, clearly, their hearts are in the RIGHT place. Right meaning, opposite of wrong.
“So, sa harap ng Batas ng tao o Batas ng Panginoon, panalo si Coco at si Kim. Yun lang,” she added.
Coco and Kim became that target of online trolls after expressing their sentiments on ABS-CBN’s shutdown through the Laban Kapamilya online protest on Facebook.
Meanwhile, Korina also scored the government prioritizing ABS-CBN shutdown in the middle of a pandemic.
“And you know what’s wrong? The ABSCBN sudden — unceremonious, possibly illegal, immoral, sinister, unethical, despicable, abhorrent, inconceivable, wicked — closure”
Korina has been all out recently engaging trolls who attacked her on her social media accounts. She even went viral by telling a troll, “Please leave. Bruha Ka.”
