Kapamilya star Beauty Gonzalez has undergone training with the Philippine National Police Aviation Security Group (PNP-ASG) as a reservist.
In her Instagram account, the 29-year-old sexy star proudly posted a photo of herself in full training gear while holding a high caliber rifle aimed upward with her finger off the trigger (trigger discipline).
“Don’t Tread On Me,” her caption started.
“Weapons and tactics training with the Men and Women of the Police Special Operations Unit, Aviation Security Group,” she added.
“Not for a Show, [n]ot to train for a show, [b]ut to serve, in any possible way I can,[w]hen called upon,” she further stated.
During her recent guesting on Magandang Buhay, the Kadenang Ginto lead star admitted that she joined PNP as a reservist to learn something different from her normal routine, and to be able to help her fellow Filipinos.
While sharing her experiences during training, Gonzalez said that her choice to become a reservist will be helpful to her career as well.
Gonzalez rose to prominence when she won as the 4th Big Placer in Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition Plus in 2008. Ejay Falcon emerged as the season’s BIG winner.
Her first major lead role which also served as her career breakthrough was in the series Pusong Ligaw alongside Bianca King in 2017. She gained more fame when she played the character of Romina Andrada-Mondragon, the nemesis of Daniela Mondragon-Bartolome, the character portrayed by Dimples Romana in the afternoon series, Kadenang Ginto.
Meanwhile, the former Pinoy Big Brother housemate is the first female celebrity who became a reservist of the Philippine Army. She followed the footsteps of other celebrities who also joined the reserve forces.

Iconic actress and politician Vilma Santos took her oath as a reservist for the Philippine Air Force (PAF) back in 2012, holding the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
- Lucy Torres Gomez
Former artist and Leyte representative Lucy Torres holds the rank of Master Sergeant with the marine reserves.
Many male celebrities have also become reservists of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), like JM De Guzman, Matteo Guidicelli, Richard Gomez, Christopher de Leon, Rocco Nacino, Jerome Ponce, Nash Aguas, Gerald Anderson, Yves Flores, and Elmo Magalona to name a few. Most of them joined the reserved forces following the roles they played in their projects.
