Former Secretary of Internal Affairs and Local Government Mar Roxas went on self-quarantine as a precaution against coronavirus disease.
Mar Roxas’ wife, Korina Sanchez, shared why her husband was unable to spend time with her and their kids, saying that after a visit to the hospital the former senator is in self-quarantine.
On the Instagram account of Korina, the former news anchor shared a candid phot of Mar behind a glass door, with their kids on the other side.
“For those wondering where Pappi is… Siya naman ngayon ang naka quarantine from me and the kids,” the former news anchor explained.
Korina said her husband can’t get close to the kids while waiting for the test results. She acknowledged that it is very hard to survive in a pandemic when taking care of children.
“So now pabisi-bisita siya but can’t get in direct contact with any of us. It’s hard. This pandemic life with babies. At least one of us is always with the kids. His mom is fine.”
According to Korina, after visiting his mother Judy Araneta Roxas in hospital, her husband took a swab test.
“But it’ll take a bit before they swab and then tsaka palang pwedeng lumapit sa amin. The kids are longing to hug their Pappi.😔Best be safe than sorry, right? 💚”
Korina recently got tested for COVID -19 while she was away from her family for a “self-imposed time of work/quarantine” to get checked for COVID-19.
