Actress and Host Maine Mendoza expressed her sadness about the news that the Lakeside Lodge in Bolton Landing, New York, burned down.
On her Twitter account, she recounted her experience in Lakeside Lodge as an Intern in 2014. She also noted that the lodge was home for Filipino Interns. Mendoza also recalled her memories of her stay at Lakeside. She also noted the good times she spent in Lakeside Lodge and Grille.
“This is so sad!!! Lakeside Lodge and Grille was a home for Filipino interns back in 2014. We lived here for 6 months! (Apartments on the second floor) I am deeply saddened by this. Internship memories in this place will never be forgotten. Good times, good times,” said Mendoza on her Twitter account.

Upon writing this article, investigators are still looking through the debris in the fire, but it is still too early to determine its cause.
Aside from being a TV personality and actress, Mendoza also has a degree in hotel, restaurant, and institution management major in culinary arts at De La Salle-College of St. Benilde. She had her internship at The Sagamore in Bolton Landing, New York.
Mendoza stayed at The Lakeside Lodge & Grille during her internship. The lodge has been in Boston, Landing since 1945.
