Willie Revillame and director Bobot Mortiz, the original creative director of Wowowee (ABS-CBN), reunite on GMA’s Wowowin.
On October 30, Willie, the host of Wowowin, revealed the newest head of their show who came from the Kapamilya network.
He introduced Direk Bobot as the new production head of Wowowin.
“Okay, si Direk Bobot Mortiz po ang original na original na creative director ng Wowowee, ngayon nandito siyang muli, gusto ko lang pong i-report sa inyo ngayong araw na ito si Direk Bobot po ay magiging overall production head na po ng Tutok to Win Wowowin WBR Productions.
“That’s right, si Direk Bobot na po ang aming magiging boss dito. Direk, thank you very much at mula ngayon pa lamang, sama-sama kami.”
Willie and Bobot worked together at ABS-CBN for the show Wowowee from 2005-2010. However, their connection was cut after Willie decided to shift to another network.
Direk Bobot is the director of the famous children’s gag show, Goin’ Bulilit. He also directed other Kapamilya shows including Luv U (2012-2016), Pilipinas Win na Win (2010-2011), Happy Yipee Yehey! (2011-2012). Before ABS-CBN was shut down, he was also directing Banana Sundae and Home Sweetie Home.
