After seven years of marriage, Melai Cantiveros and Jason Francisco renewed their vows on the morning talk show Magandang Buhay.

The event went viral because of Melai’s vows, which incorporated different Korean Pop songs showing off the comedian host’s inner K-Pop fan.

Firstly, Melai first quoted K-Pop group BLACKPINK with their song, “How you like that?”

“Lahat nalampasan na natin, at marami pa tayong malalampasan. Basta’t kapit lang tayo kay God. At walang sukuan, o di ba, Now look at you, look at me. Now look at you, look at me. How you like that?” said Melai.

She then continued with her vow and incorporated another BLACKPINK song, “Kill This Love.”

“Papang always kong ipagdarasal na for you and me, we will not kill this love. Rapapangpapang,” said Melai.

Then she vowed to remain sweet using another BLACKPINK song with Selena Gomez, “Ice Cream.”

“And pananatilihin kong maging sweet sayo like an Ice Cream Chillin’, Chillin’, Ice Cream Chillin,” said Melai.

Finally, Melai capped off her vows with the BTS song, “Dynamite.”

“So papang for me, you are always shining through the city with a little funk and soul. And you will always be the one to light me up, like dynamite. I love you. Seryoso ako sa sinasabi ko. Papang, I love you so much,” said Melai.

Here are some of the viral reactions of the wedding vow from netizens:

Seven years ago, the Pinoy Big Brother alums and love team Melason had similar wedding vows, wherein both of them incorporated pop songs popular at the time in their wedding vows.

The couple briefly separated in 2016 but got back together. Melai and Jason have two daughters, with Jason hinting at wanting to have a third child.
