Xyriel Manabat responded to a troll who said that she is wearing a padded bra.
A photo of Xyriel Manabat once again became a target of critics. And again, she did not let it pass and responded to it politely.
The basher who’s clearly using a dummy account claimed that the young actress’s boobs are not proportionate to her body because she is just wearing a padded bra.
Manabat then sarcastically thanked the troll for spending time to create a fake account just to criticize her.
She then disproved the allegation that she is wearing a padded bra and said that she is only wearing nipple tape instead.
In September this year, the glow-up photos of Manabat shocked the netizens as she evolved from her child-star figure to a mature and sultry image.
However, as others appreciate her transformation, she also became a target of sexual harassment as others noticed her large breasts and her photos were viewed maliciously by other people.
With this, Manabat who is still a minor got offended by the malicious comments and reiterated that sexual harassment is never okay.
“Hindi po ako napa-flatter sa ibang comments, kasi ‘yung iba po below the belt. Sana po alam nila at aware po ang tao na sexual harassment is never, never okay. Hindi po siya fine,” Manabat said.
“Sa mga nakaka-experience po lalo na po kapag minor, siyempre hindi naman po sila sanay sa ganoon,” she added.
She believes that whatever you are, or you wear, no one deserves to be harassed especially because it affects one’s mental being.
“Minor man, girls, boys, anumang age, anumang gender or anuman ang suot sana po walang ganoon. Never po siyang nakakatulong. Lalo na po sa ganitong may pandemic na marami pong pinagdadaanan na mental health na problems. Huwag na pong sumabay. Respect na lang po,” she said.
Manabat rose to fame because of her outstanding child roles in Kapamilya shows like Agua Bendita, Momay, and 100 Days to Heaven. However, at present, she chose to focus on her studies so she’s on a break from her showbiz career.
