Lolit Solis is not done with Janine Gutierrez.
Now that Gutierrez is set to become a Kapamilya, Solis still has something to say to the 31-year-old actress.
When asked what’s her take on Janine’s contract not being renewed, she explained that it is simply because the Network had no use of her.
“Pero kung iisipin mo, ang GMA business yan. Hindi ka pakakawalan nang GMA kung papakinabangan ka,” said Lolit.
She then added that they have to re-think why she was let go by the company.
“Kaya ba hindi ba kailangan isipin nila, baka walang pakinabang kay Janine kaya pinakawalan?”
She then explained that there was a big difference between a renewed contract and not. In the case of the non-renewal, she will do what any manager would do—damage control.
Lolit continued: “Kasi there’s a big difference between yung ni-renew ka at hindi ka ni-renew. Kasi, parang ano eh… as a manager ako ha.
“Halimbawa hindi ni-renew alaga ko, mag-dadamage control ako.”
She also mentioned Kris Bernal whom she admired for accepting the fact that her contract was not renewed.
“Kaya nga hangang-hanga ako kay Kris Bernal eh. She accepted na hindi sya ni-renew, na gusto pa rin niyang maging Kapuso, pero hindi siya ni-renew. Pero kung sakali merong alok sa kanya, gusto nya. Honest sya,” Lolit said.
