Cacai Velasquez cried foul over fake accounts on social media claiming that the virtual concert of Regine Velasquez got rescheduled because it failed to generate enough ticket sales.

Cacai is a Filipina singer and the younger sister of Regine. Her husband, Raul Mitra, is the musical director of the said Freedom Digital Concert.
The Freedom: Regine Velasquez-Alcasid Digital Concert was supposed to stream on February 14, but ABS-CBN Events and IME announced its reschedule date to February 28 (Sunday) due to an undisclosed reason.
According to some fake accounts of IME Productions and Cacai–the rescheduling of the said concert is due to its ‘poor’ ticket sales.
Cacai posted screenshots of the said fake accounts with posts on twitter and noted that people should not think ill of the rescheduling and should rather wish that the concert will go well.
Some Netizens mentioned Sarah Geronimo‘s name in line with her upcoming Tala: The Film virtual concert this March and Cacai said that the re-scheduling of Regine’s concert has nothing to do with it and they do not wish to compete.
FAKE ACCOUNTS!!! bakit ba kasi kailangan maging contest??? Isipin nyo na lang ang success ng parehong concert ay nakakapagbigay ng trabaho sa maraming tao and hopefully will lead to more digital concerts pa.. ang GOAL namin ay magbigay SAYA hindi po kami nakikipag contest. PEACE pic.twitter.com/7ojOAWSfS5

Shortly after her post, Cacai requested the Netizens to give support to Regine’s Freedom Concert instead.
Pls sa mga supporters, help up promote #FREEDOM in a positive way.. kung NEGA lang hwag na lang pls. lets all promote positivity, dami nang negative na nangyayari sa tin, hwag na dagdagan.
